Important Treatment Considerations for Patients
In the U.S. PREVELLE Silk is indicated for injection into the mid to deep dermis for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds) and is well tolerated. Common side effects reported in PREVELLE Silk clinical studies, included temporary injection site reactions, such as redness and swelling, and were usually mild in nature not requiring medical intervention. PREVELLE Silk contains lidocaine and must not be used in patients with known lidocaine hypersensitivity.
